Fab Friday Faves 7.8.17

Hello, friends!  Greetings from sunny Saskatchewan.  When I came here, I thought I would be getting away from the heat, but turns out we are in a month long heat wave and all that I got away from was the oppressive humidity.  Oh well, but we could really use some rain! The last 2 weeks have been a whirlwind.  The first week while Josh was here, literally felt like 3 days, with Jesse's grad, Frontier Days and catching up with family.  I know that none of us are totally recovered yet. I still have lots of things to do, and people to catch up with, so if you are reading this, stop in!  It would save me some driving time!  Have a great week everyone!

My baby brother graduated high school this year!  I am not sure how that is possible, since he was 2 when I graduated high school, but I guess time goes insanely fast.  We had a great day and I think he did too.  Everyone did an amazing job speaking and planning and they looked so darn cute!

Frontier Days took place last weekend in Swift Current, with the normal fair midway, rodeo, concerts and fireworks.  We spent the entire day there as a family and took in the Rodeo, lots of food, Sawyer Brown and Aaron Goodvin concerts and Canada Day fireworks.  Everything was awesome, especially the concerts.  Sawyer Brown still puts on an amazing show (He was my first concert that I remember going to when I was 6 or 7) and Aaron Goodvin was so good too.  Check him out if you aren't from Western Canada and a country fan.  We were also super impressed with the fireworks display this year, even though a few of us got hit with burning embers!

This was the sunset the first morning we were in Saskatchewan.  Mom and I got up because the dogs were barking and noticed how amazing it looked.  I like to think this was a welcome back especially for me.

Everyone knows I miss my Canadian food so much, and take advantage of every chance I get to eat food.  Tim Hortons everything, Poutine and even a butter tart Parfait!

My parents got me this shirt when they went to see Tanya Tucker, my namesake.  Love it!
