Alright, so I am aware it's not Friday, but I have not been feeling well the last few days (migraine) and couldn't even think about being on the computer, let alone doing a blog. So I feel a bit better this morning and decided, hey, better late than never right? It has been a good week, besides the migraine for 3ish days. Pretty quiet, but hey, it's Florida, it's always awesome. On the weekend we had some friends over for a cookout and pool day, which was awesome and filled with yummy food and lots of fun. Josh left yesterday for a few days to Maine. I would have loved to have went but I just haven't been feeling the greatest, not to mention the three pets here to look after. I expect this week to be quiet. I have a few activities planned, lunch with a friend, some yoga, a crafting session at our local Aerie Lane, maybe even a facial and probably at least one walk on the beach and shelling. Everyone enjoy your week and see you soon!
I'm not sure if I have even mentioned my Etsy shop on my blog before, for no other reason than I just forgot. I plan on hitting 40 sales in the next couple days, so it is about time. I started it at the beginning of March, and have done better than I could have imagined. Right now it is just shells, which I have learned lots of people love, use for their own crafts etc, but I would love to get some of my own crafts up here in the next few months. my store is at
https://www.etsy.com/shop/TanSellsShells but you can also just search for TanSellsShells. Check it out, if for nothing else than to get my stats up haha.
A couple weeks ago, we finally got around to hanging our lights over the pool. They look so good and really add even more of a outdoor paradise vibe to the backyard.
I decided to try out dip nails the other day, they turned out cute and a week and a half later I have no chips and they are still shiny. Love them.
Since it's Florida and a million degrees in the summer, even if I get up at 6am to go for a walk or jog, it's just too hot. So I finally convinced Josh to get us a "new to us" treadmill. It has been a godsend. I have it set up with my iPad and a fan (anyone that knows me knows I sweat more than any person in the planet) I'm' enjoying it so much.
We went for breakfast to one of my favorite places a couple weeks ago, Grain and Berry. It's just down there street (they have several locations now though) and is so delicious. They have smoothies, Avocado toast, yogurt bowls and bowls like this Spirulina one with pineapple, granola, mango, and coconut. So delicious.
I'm not sure how many people actually get the POP network, but it is home to some of my favorite TV shows. This week, "Florida Girls" finally premiered after months of waiting. It is set here in Clearwater, in a trailer park. It is basically 4 girls that live together in a trailer, and are the epitome of what a lot of people think of when they think of Florida. I've never actually seen an area like this in Clearwater, but I am sure they exist. It is hilarious and basically chronicles their life and mishaps and for one of them, her journey to try to become more than the stereotype. Honestly it is hilarious and even though it is actually filmed in Savannah, there are a ton of local shots which is always neat.
