Well, this is probably it y'all. I'm 38 weeks today and being induced starting Wednesday evening, hoping to meet our little man on Thursday. Am I terrified? Maybe a bit but it's a little late to back out now! Anyway, this will probably be my last post for a couple (or few)weeks, depending if this parenting thing is as tough as I am led to believe haha. This is an update from our last few very packed weeks. I've been having lots of appointments (Finn was weighing 6lbs7oz, two weeks ago at our appt and everything was looking great), trying to get meals cooked, the house stocked, cleaned and organized, and just enjoy a little bit of our time as just the two of us and Smudge. Everyone have a great week, and as soon as I'm able I'll update everyone about how things went and some pictures of Mr. Finn.
My pretty nails from a few weeks ago. I get them done again on Monday as well as a pedicure which I am extra excited about.
My haircut a couple weeks ago as well. Trying to get all beautified before baby comes since it might be a while until my next appointment!
Josh and I went out to the Kumquat Festival in Dade City. It was one of the biggest craft festivals i have ever been to as well as tons of food, a car show and small carnival. Oh and a lot of Kumquats.
We went to one of our favorite Chili cookoffs, at the Stadium in New Port Richey. Last year it was on the coldest, rainiest day of the year and was really hard to enjoy it, but it was on a gorgeous day this year and the breweries really stepped up the Chili quality too.
I got together with Nicole and Jackson this week, one last time before baby comes and we enjoyed a delicious smoothie and a Sprinkles cupcake in Hyde Park Village. We had a great visit and did a little playing at the park and some shopping.
Later that day I got to get to together with my dear friend/cousin Alana and her BF Matt, all the way from Canada. I haven't seen Alana in far too long and it was so great to catch up and have lunch.
Josh and I went to the Rays Fanfest at Tropicana field again this year and picked up some cheap merchandise and saw some of the Rays players. After we went to Red Mesa Mercado, for one of the best Burritos we have ever had. There are three Red Mesa Restaurants in St. Pete and now I can't wait to try the other two.
I got together with my Shellinator friend Jess the other day as well. We went to Dipped and Sprinkled in Dunedin for a latte and some truffles and then walked around the Downtown Dunedin Market.
Today I'm linking up with:
