Fab Friday Faves 9.1.17

Happy Friday everyone, and happy first day of September! How is it possibly September and where did summer go?  I missed last weeks Friday blog, because I literally had not taken one picture all week, but I do have a few things to show today.  Everyone have a safe and fun labor day weekend!

Last Friday, Josh and I went to one of my favorite country acts, Brother's Osborne at the Calvert Marine Museum.  It is part of a concert series that the Museum has each year as a fundraiser and it is held in the parking lot so its a pretty small crowd and the guys rocked it.  They were amazing!  They are also from just a few miles away from where the concert was held and they put on quite the show for the locals.  Opening for them was Tucker Bethard, that sings the song Rocks On and Robbie Boothe, another upcoming local act that was awesome! Check out some of the videos that I took, below.

Josh and I went for a walk at Battle Creek Cypress Swamp, about 20 minutes from here.  The park is the northern most stand of Cypress trees in the US and some of the trees are up to 1000 years old. They have a nice little walk through the swamp as well as a great nature center with one of the only Albino Eastern Snapping Turtles and a rescued and rehabbed hawk and two owls.

After we went to the Cypress Swamp we stopped at Mully's Brewery to try a beer that they had just released.  They were out of the beer already but there was a food truck with made to order brick oven pizzas.  We got the "street taco" pizza with pulled pork and all the yummy things you would find in a street taco.  So delicious!

Nicole's parents came down from Ontario for a visit a couple days ago and brought some Canadian treats.  Luckily, Nicole is very good at sharing and gave me some Ketchup Chips, Hickory Sticks and Buttertarts <3

I don't know if any one has watched the show "The Lowe Files" other than me, but I'm really enjoying it.  First of all, I love Rob Lowe so that helps.  Even though this show's premise is kinda overdone, the humor of all three of these guys cracks me up, and I think that's what makes the show for me.  Check it out (especially episode 5) and let me know what you think.

 Today, I'm linking up with:
