Fab Friday Faves 10.16.15

Hello Friday!  What a lovely week we have had, I'm hoping this lovely weather keeps up for a while longer.  It's been a nice relaxing week, of looking online for house in Florida and enjoying the outdoors.  Josh and I spent most of the weekend in Hoboken enjoying some festivities over there and walking along the water.  In less great news, I fell while walking in Soho on one of the cobblestone streets and tore some tendons in my foot and ankle, so that's fun!  haha, I'm not letting it slow me down though!  Alright, have a fantastic weekend my darlings!  We are headed out this afternoon to Mt. Pocono for the weekend for some fun and relaxation so I better get ready!  Here are my 5's for the week.

October 12-18 is Spa Week in NYC (as well as other locations around the U.S) and I took full advantage.  Basically it is about 100, mostly high end spas in the area that each have three treatments normally pretty expensive on for $50 a piece.  I had a hard time deciding what to get done but I settled on a Microdermabrasion and facial at Skin Station in Manhattan because the last couple months my skin has been super stressed, dry, flaky and dull like never before and a spa pedicure from SalonBe right next door to our apartment in Jersey City.  Both were absolutely amazing and how can you beat $50 treatments? There are a couple days of Spa Week left so if you are in one of the areas around the U.S that participates, book a treatment right now!

One of the festivities Josh and I took in last weekend was the Diwali Festival of Lights on Pier A in Hoboken.  They had delicious food and fantastic entertainment and I got this beautiful Henna done.  I used to get Henna quite often but I haven't for a few years so I thought it was about time again.  I love  it!

Also in Hoboken, we decided after me saying we should stop every time we walked by, the Taco Truck.  The Taco Truck actually has trucks but also has restaurant locations all over New Jersey.  We just stopped in for a snack so we shared three different kinds of tacos and OMG so delicious!  We are absolutely going back next week to try a burrito and some other items.  The meat had so much flavor and melted in our mouths.  Mmmmmm now I want one so bad.

I had to finally post my rain boots.  I got them a couple months ago, but until like two weeks ago it hadn't rained at all, so I wasn't able to really try them out.  I got them from Zulilly for $21 and they are so cute.  They are also super comfy (I walked 6 miles in them the 2nd time I wore them), and cozy and warm.

I finally found these Boom Chicka Puffs at Target the other day (they have been out of stock FOREVER) and man this a delicious snack!  Our Target only had the Nacho Cheese ones but there are some other flavors I am hoping to try.  They are like regular cheese puffs but not super greasy and about half the bag has only 140 calories.  I have also tried the Boom Chicka Pop, popcorn but unfortunately I didn't think it was great (not enough flavor) but I am so impressed with this!
